The Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM), the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) and the Anti-Personnel Landmines Convention (APLC), (also referred to as Ottawa Convention, OTW), receive no funding from the United Nations Regular Budget.
The costs of organizing the meetings of each Convention, are covered with contributions from States Parties and other participating States, on basis of the United Nations scale of assessments, adjusted for the differences in membership.
In an effort to better inform States about the financial situation of these Conventions, the UNODA Geneva Branch has created a restricted area for States Parties and other participating States, which is regularly updated.
The current status of assessed contributions per country and per convention can be verified on the Financial Dashboard.
