Invitation to NGOs: Conference on Facilitating the Entry into Force of the CTBT

The Tenth Conference on Facilitating the Entry into Force of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) will be held on 20 September 2017 at the United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) in New York. NGOs working in the field of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation are invited to attend.

Please register here by 15 September 2017. Late registrations will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Important notes:

  1. As this event will take place during the high-level segment of the General Assembly, NGOs with ECOSOC-accredited passes cannot use them to enter UNHQ. Every civil society attendee must obtain a named day pass by completing the registration form at the above link.
  2. Civil society representatives must register separately for each event they wish to attend during the high-level segment. This requirement extends to NGO colleagues who hold annual UN grounds passes issued through ECOSOC or DPI.
  3. Accepted registrants will receive details on entry procedures.
