National Legislation on Transfer of Arms, Military Equipment and Dual-Use Goods and Technology

Governmental ‘transparency in armaments’ includes the possibility to share national laws and regulations on arms export, which may contribute to mutual understanding and confidence among countries.

The General Assembly has encouraged governments to provide the UN with such information. Many have done so.
